You should arrive at the time designated by your physician's office unless the Surgery Center makes an adjustment to your scheduled time. You will be asked to sign a Consent Form, acknowledging your understanding of the procedure and permission for your doctor to perform the scheduled procedure. A nurse will review a health history during the pre-op interview. Anesthesia personnel will consult with you in the pre-operative area also.
Your physician performs the procedure with the support of our experienced staff. After your procedure, you'll be transferred to our fully equipped recovery room where you will be attended by your anesthetist and recovery room nurses until you are ready to go home.
The center's staff, policies, procedures, equipment and ancillary service meet the highest national standards for safety and medical protocol. Experienced nurses, technicians and support staff are trained and qualified according to the same stringent criteria required in the finest hospitals. While problems rarely occur, our Center is fully equipped with all necessary staff and equipment to care for a patient who has an unexpected occurrence.
